K2 Gold Confirms Multiple Stacked High-Grade Gold Zones at Dragonfly

Four further holes at K2 Gold's Dragonfly Zone returned multiple broad oxide-gold intervals, including 27.43m at 4.08 g/t Au and 3.05m at 17.55 g/t Au.

Company announcement — 9 September 2026

K2 Gold Corporation (TSXV: KTO; OTCQX: KTGDF; FSE: 23K) has reported four additional drill holes from the Dragonfly Zone at its 100%-owned Mojave Project in California. The results confirm multiple stacked, high-grade oxide-gold structures west of K2's 2020 discovery intercept.

New Dragonfly intercepts

  • DF26-023: 27.43m at 4.08 g/t Au from 82.30m, including 15.24m at 5.30 g/t Au.
  • DF26-024: 3.05m at 17.55 g/t Au from 62.48m, followed by 28.95m at 2.03 g/t Au from 97.54m, including 16.76m at 3.03 g/t Au.
  • DF26-021: a 32.01m alteration envelope grading 2.02 g/t Au from 50.29m, including 4.57m at 8.80 g/t Au.
  • DF26-022: a 33.53m alteration envelope grading 1.63 g/t Au from 102.11m, including 6.09m at 4.97 g/t Au and 4.58m at 3.67 g/t Au.

All four holes were drilled from pad DF-F, positioned approximately 40m west of K2's 2020 intercept of 45.72m at 6.68 g/t Au. Two holes tested the down-dip and lateral extension of that earlier result, while two were angled to test for possible northwest-plunging high-grade shoots.

Dragonfly's structural picture is developing

Each hole intersected an upper high-grade structure approximately 50m below surface before cutting additional mineralised zones at depth. K2 said the central corridor appears to widen at depth in parts of the latest drilling, while the broader Dragonfly system remains open in all directions.

The results build on the first three 2026 holes released in August and support a model of stacked, primarily west-dipping structures across a corridor approximately 400m wide. Much of that corridor had not yet been drilled at the date of the announcement.

Program status

K2 had completed 23 holes for 4,182m across the wider fully funded 14,000m Mojave campaign, with drilling under way at the Newmont Zone and results pending from 16 additional holes. Fifteen holes had been completed at Dragonfly, seven of which had been reported.

President and CEO Anthony Margarit said the four holes provide further evidence of a robust mineralised system beyond the company's 2020 drilling while helping define Dragonfly's architecture.

Technical context: the detailed results in the release and assay table report 27.43m at 4.08 g/t Au for DF26-023. The release's cover headline states 4.03 g/t Au. Reported widths are drilled or apparent widths and true thickness is currently unknown.
